Biography:

Chard grew up in Freeport with a band of gypsies. Her mother was a wood elf. Her father met her mother while explorer. After Chard was born, Chard mother brought Chard to her father in fear that otherelves would kill her. Chard father kept his daughter secret until she was five. It turned out that some of he wood elves that disapproved with what Chard mother did had killed her and it took them five years to find Chard's father. Chard's father found out through some allies that the wood elves had discovered where he was and was planning to kill him and his daughter. He and some of his allies then ambush the wood elves killing them all. But Chard's father though fighting bravely would fall that day.

Blackbane an allie of Chard's father found a band of gypsies and gave them his daughter. The reason why he did this is because he knew it would make it hard for the wood elves to find her. Chard grew up with the gypsies learning about music and dancing. The gypsies were very kind to her. She met a man named Darren. He was a human, but he was very hansom and kind. When she reach 18 they got married. But her happiness did not last for long though. A group of human warriors who did not like what they saw attack them. The gypsies fought bravely but were no match for the warriors. Darren gave his life so she could escape. After what happen that her heart grew cold and she became very bitter. She vowed that she would have her revenge.

After that she wander from place to place making friends with the rogue and bards in the cities  and the druids and rangers out in the wilderness. A halfling Druid named Terkarma took Chard and trained her in the ways of magic. She also taught her how to survive in the wilderness. After a year with being with Terkarma she decide that it was time to move on. So she said good bye and left her Halfling mentor. But anywhere she went she face prejudice from humans and elves. Finally her travels took her to Freeport. That is where Chard met a human shadowknight named General Crovax. He told her of his mission to unite all the darkness in Norrath. After listen to him Chard that this is where she belong. So she joins the Dark Alliance.
