Biography:

Eoder is the ordinary son of common folk. He was born and raised in Freeport by caring parents, his father being a fisherman by trade and his mother staying home and caring for Eoder and his siblings. Eoder was the third born of 4 children and as such he did not get the attention his father gave his older brother nor the attention his mother gave his 'baby' brother and was wont to spend most of his time exploring the city with his best friend Jorg.

One day when Eoder was 12 years old, he and his best friend Jorg decided to go play outside the west gate of the city as they did quite often. However, on this day an event took place that would change his life forever. Jorg was playing his usual role of a rogue and Eoder of a paladin in their favorite game of 'Paladins and Rogues' when they suddenly came upon a pair of orc pawns. The boys were both so surprised they didn't even think to run for their lives until the orcs began running after them brandishing wicked looking picks. Eoder and Jorg began running as fast as they could towards the safety of Freeport but the orcs were bigger and faster than the young boys and soon overtook them.

The boys were trapped with the city wall at their backs and thought sure that this was the end for them when a man miraculously appeared seemingly from out of the sky between the boys and their orc assailants. The man appeared to be an ordinary citizen of Freeport, which excited the orcs all the more in anticipation of perhaps getting some coins from this newcomer. Unfortunately for the orcs they were not bright enough to realize than an 'ordinary' citizen could not have jumped from the heights of the city walls without injury. The orcs rushed this intruder but soon paid for that mistake with their lives as the man quickly dispatched the orcs with his bare hands. The sight of this man dodging the orc's blades, countering with his fists, and delivering devastating blows with sweeping round kicks was forever imprinted in Eoder's mind. By the time the melee was over, Eoder had decided that he wanted to learn the skills of a monk and become a champion of tranquillity and justice.
