Biography:

Janus Nightstalker was the most cunning, daring, and stealthy of all the Knights in the Order of Wolfe. He possessed all of the qualities of the best knight who fought in the shadows and darkness, for a mortal that is. The most amazing thing about him was that he was the greatest knight there ever was at the age of 17. To further describe his abilities at the age of 6 he was able to disable 10 of the order's finest knights with only a dagger within 3 minutes, for aside from being the greatest swordsman there was, he possessed the greatest analytical mind there has ever been.

He was the Prodigal son of the Order of Wolfe and at 17, the best there was. This caught the eye of Rallos Zek, the warlord god. He had been watching Janus for many years and saw the potential in him to be something more than he was. Rallos Zek sought to confront Janus and offer him a life of service for Rallos Zek. As Janus refused his offer because Janus used his talents and abilities only when needed because his skill was so raw and unbridled that he became like the wolf he belonged to, a destructive force that could not be contained. For this, Rallos Zek was angered and forced Janus into combat. To the warlord's surprise the battle lasted for hours for Janus' skill was as he said, a destructive force in battle. Rallos Zek then used a gigantic sword to break Janus' sword and strike him down in one horrific slash.

As Rallos Zek's anger passed he realized his error and took the body of Janus to his most skilled necromancer, Zorath Nor, who could not only make the dead into undead, but he could also make the dead come back to life. So with this he brought Janus back to life, and with Rallos Zek's assistance increased Janus's already unmatched skills ten-fold, thus becoming the first and greatest Shadow Knight there ever was and ever will be, for he roams Norrath as an immortal warrior who is Rallos Zek's "Prodigal Son".

Although Janus opposes the warlord's motives, he is forced to do his bidding, but has been trying to overcome his uncontrollable lust for battle which is the only skill he hasn't honed to perfection.
