Quote: |
"Embrace the cold
darkness that is Death, brought by our hands to
your rotting bodies. Hear the lamentations of your lost friends,
conjuring you to come to them into the Eternal Abyss. Get rid of
the tormenting spasm that is Life, be one with oblivion.
The ravens are already upon you, festing upon your decaying flesh." |

Biography:
Morlat never knew his parents. He was
adopted by a couple of old and cruel peasants. Life was hard during this time and violence
was often the only reward for his work. But eventually a quarrel between two lords
degenerated and the land where he lived was pillaged. The invading army destroyed
everything in it's path. It was with a dark joy that he assisted to the assassination of
it's parents and the fall of many brave men defending its land.
Fleeing from the doom that raged upon
his land, he found in the deeps of a forest an old and abandonned monastery. The priests
that once lived there worshipped a dark and evil god, now forgotten from man's mind. There
he encountered the wraith of an long-dead necromancer which seeked a way to accomplish
vengeance upon the livings. He found in Morlat the tool to achieve it. He trained him in
the ways of the dark art and Morlat proved to be a gifted student. Searching in the
librairies of the monastery, he found the secret to many arcane magicks, becoming
dangerously learned about rituals of death and desacration. In time he was ready to
explore the world and achieve vengeance upon the descendants of its mentor ennemies, the
followers of Rodcet Nife, those trying to destroy everything the necromancer achieved.
Directed by rumors, he found the hidden
city of Paineel. There, his history fades into mysts of darkness, the only clue of his
very existence being his association to a black, occult group known as The Pentagram... |
