Biography:
My name is Teiwaz, runic for sword. I was
born half-elf in the city of the woodelves. My mother is the Terra, the legendary
she-paladin, and my father left before I was born. I care not for him. I was born May the
9th, 2932 ac. I was raised as a woodelf, and got in many quarrels as a child because of my
size. I was called a "giant" by the other children. Soon, however, I became
accepted as one of them. The people in my village go and get jobs generally from the ages
of 16-21, but now that the "War of the Gods" has begun, my mother says it's not
safe to get one yet. So, I wait.
10/12/2949 ac - The orcs came earlier today, intent on
conquering our city. My mother and most of the other elven soldiers went out to fight
them. I, being a minor, was not allowed to leave the village. I could look to the distance
and make out a giant orc of sorts, maybe twenty some feet in height, fighting the
army. I was relieved, when later, the giant fell and the army came back to celebrate. I
learned that the giant beast was in fact the mighty Crushbone, leader of the orcs.
10/21/2949 ac - Today I learned that there will be a final battle between the
followers of Mithaniel Marr and the followers of Innoruuk in between Freeport and Neriak
on the 28th at midnight. This battle will mark the end of the "War of the Gods."
I have also learned that my mother will travel to Freeport early tomorrow morning to
partake in this battle. I, however, am not worried, for I know that good always triumphs
over evil, and I know that my god, Mithaniel Marr will surely utterly trample the wicked
Innoruuk.
10/22/2949 ac - Today my mother bought me a short sword and some newbie armor and wrote me a
letter to the chief dated on my 18th birthday, so that I may get a job on that day
if she does not return.
10/31/2949 ac - Today only three of the many warriors who left for the great battle returned
to the city. They looked very tired and were without much armor. After resting for most of
the day, I went into one of their' houses and asked him of the battle. He told me that
Innoruuk and Mithaniel Marr themselves came to duel and that another god whose name was
Frizzle something also came to be the referee or something of that sort. He told me that
the battle was great, but that they were getting too close to Neriak. The followers of
Innoruuk outnumbered the followers of Mithaniel Marr and that with their help, Innoruuk
defeated my god. He then turned to defeat the neutral god, leaving the followers of Marr
defenseless, and then to be slaughtered by the oncoming armies. He also told me that my
mother did not make it. It was a sad day for me, and I have sworn vengeance on Innoruuk
and all of his legions of darkness. They must all be defeated. I shall restore honor to my
god on my mother's name.
11/4/2949 ac - With the war of the gods officially at an end, my dear friend Walkor left to
become a rogue. This is a very dishonorable occupation, and I pray to Mithaniel Marr that
he does not dishonor him too dearly.
1/1/2950 ac -
Today marks the beginning of the new century, and the day that many chose to start on
their careers. There were a lot of new visitors to Kelethin, and a lot of them fell from
the platforms of the city.
I remember falling from these once. I was thirteen, and I
broke both my legs. I think that the town elders should consider putting up some sort of
railing system to prevent so many shameful injuries and deaths. |
