Biography:
Prologue:
Vegita joined a monestary when he was 12 and lived there untill he was 18. The angry monks
had cast him out, claiming he abused the teachings and didn't believe in the gods. Vegita
could have cared less what the monks thought and set off to find a different trainer.
Unfortunately the monks had sent out word of Vegita's actions to the other monestaries.
Vegita then spent 8 years looking for a trainer and eventually his travels brought him to
Qeynos.
The Travels of Vegeta:
Part I
Another lousy day in a lousy world, Vegita though to himself as he got out of his
bed. This had been his third day in Qeynos and no one was willing to tell him where the
Monks Guild was. He sighed to himself and walked down the stairs to the Inn's lobby.
"Hey yew!"the Innkeeper called to him.
"I got da letter here far ya." he said, holding a scroll.
Vegita took it and as he read he smiled to himself.
It was an invitation to the monks guild. Obviously the Monks need more initiates with
the Dark-Elven threat, he thought to himself. They even have their location on
here. Mmmm...across the pond in front of Crow's. That would take some time; Vegita
didn't know the layout of Qeynos very well. Vegeta turned to leave, but the Innkeeper
stopped him.
"Chu still ow me da money for the last night
mester."
Vegita angrily reached into his pocket and payed the
man. Vegita swore to himself. Now your out ov money you idiot! he thought. Vegita
stormed out of the Inn and set off for the Monks Guild.
Part II
It took some trying but he finnaly found it. "The Order of the Silent Fist" was
the name of the guild. It wasn't what Vegita expected, most guild buildings were tall, two
story,
church like buildings, but this...this was a small crampt hut
The interior was a single hall going around a curve
to a door leading to the back training area. Vegita walked through the door and was
pleasently surprised at the space of the training area, but it was diserted except for a
single trainer.
"Why dose this place seem diserted?" Vigita
asked the trainer.
"Not many individuals are willing to become a
monk, I think it's the name that drives them off."
"I agree, they should be known as martial
artists. Can you tell me where I can find LuSun?"
"Ahh...you wish to become one of the proud
monks! The individual you seek is around that corner, in the shed." said the trainer,
pointing to a curve leading around the monestary.
Vegita thanked the man and proceded to the shed.
Inside was one of the strongest looking men Vegita had ever seen. Noticing his entrence,
the man addressed Vegita.
"I am the Master of the Silent Fist. What does
thou ask of me?"
Vegita held out his invitation to him.
"I am Vegita, I received your invitation and I
am willing to learn the art of weaponless combat." he replied.
LuSun took the note and stuffed it in his pocket. He
then turned to the wall behind him and took a tunic off the wall and tossed it to Vegita.
"Here is your guild tunic Vegita, where it with honor. Now go find brother Esrinap
and he'll begin your training."
Vegita bowed and left. Before putting on the tunic, Vegita took the time to examin it. It
was all black with the symbol of the Silent Fist painted in red on the back. Vegita
slipped it on and headed off to find his trainer, Esrinap.
Part III
Phin wasn't hard to find, he was resting outside the building. Before greeting him, Vegita
took a moment to analyze him. Phin was a well built, agile man that one would not want to
mess with.
Vegita walked up to Phin. "Greetings Phin, I am Vegita, Master LuSun told me that you
would be able to train me."
"Ahh...hail Vegita! Before I begin training you,
would you wish to earn one of the headbands that I award for special deeds?"
"Headbands?" asked Vigita.
"Yes I award white, yellow, and orange headbands
to our beginning students."
"How do I earn the white headband?"
"You must bring me four gnoll pup scalps."
Phin told Vegita.
Vegita nodded "I'll earn a white headband
then." he said.
"Very good," said Phin "Now lets get
to training you."
The training was quick and left Vegita with a broken
nose. Vegita left the grounds of the guild in a fowl mood. Still, the broken nose gave him
a chance to practice his mend skill.
Vegita planted his feet firmly and concentrated on
his wound. He visualized the cartilage snapping back in place and the flesh sealing and
stitching back together. Vegita opened his eyes and saw that his nose was completely
healed.
Vegita took a deep breath, through his nose, wiped
way the excess blood and walked off to the Qeynos gates. |
